Training that adapts
Adaptive coaching is a Pro feature with hypertrophy and powerlifting tracks. Build a plan around your experience, schedule, session length, available equipment, and priorities. Preview and customize it before enrolling.
Understand the block
A hypertrophy block has four build weeks followed by a deload. Optional training feedback informs upcoming reps, load, and volume. Review the plan’s explanations, and choose when to start the next block.
The powerlifting track focuses on strength prescriptions, including top sets and back-offs. Both tracks keep the prescribed targets alongside what you actually log. Manual and automatic adaptation controls govern real changes.
Give feedback when useful
Effort, recovery, and workload feedback are optional. Record actual RPE/RIR on working sets and review the feedback offered after relevant work. An unanswered question remains unanswered; it is not treated as proof that training was easy or recovery was good.
Hypertrophy previews separate direct and indirect muscle work. Estimated coaching credits use direct sets plus half of indirect sets as a planning estimate. This does not change historical statistics or mean both types of work are physiologically equal.
Review a change before using it
- Remaining sets: a sufficiently different logged effort can offer a small adjustment to unfinished working sets. Choose to adjust or keep current targets. Completed work remains recorded.
- Shorter sessions: choose today’s time budget and review omitted work before starting. This does not rewrite the whole block.
- Lighter returns: after a qualifying gap in logged working workouts, review an optional lighter session. Reptor cannot detect training you did not log.
- Discomfort: optional feedback can lead to compatible alternatives after repeated reports. A swap requires your acceptance and starts fresh load calibration; old logs remain.
- Progress reviews: repeated comparable stalls can prompt a review with dated training facts. This is guidance for reviewing training, not an automatic diagnosis or target change.
- Next-block volume: after a hypertrophy block, review any suggested starting-volume reduction and explicitly accept it or keep the plan.
Not every session qualifies for every offer. Plan state, feedback, completed work, adaptation settings, and available equipment affect what is shown. Review explanations and use the available undo controls when needed.
